By car:
Kents Cavern is located in Wellswood, a suburb of Torquay around one mile from Torquay Harbour. Once in Torquay follow the brown tourist signs to Kents Cavern or use TQ1 2JF, Ilsham Road for your Sat Nav. On-site car park is £3 for 4 hours (card or cash) or on the adjacent road for FREE all year.
By bus:
There are plenty of bus services to Kents Cavern and it's only a five-minute journey to Torquay harbour-side; check out the Stagecoach website to plan your visit. Ask for the St Matthias bus stop.
On foot:
From Torquay it is a one mile walk to Kents Cavern and a five-minute walk from the St Mathias Church bus stop. Why not continue your walk and check out the amazing views on the South West Coastal Path; maps are available from the ticket desk.
By train:
Mainline train services operate direct from London to Torquay station (via Newton Abbot) GWR. Other mainline train services from across the UK to Torquay station can be found at www.thetrainline.com. Taxis available for the short ride along Torquay seafront to Kents Cavern
By air:
Exeter International Airport (EXT) is 40 minutes by car/taxi and Bristol International Airport (BRS) is 2 hours by car/taxi.
By ferry from mainland Europe:
The nearest car ferry terminal is Plymouth, 1-hour drive, with regular ferry services from France and Spain operated by Brittany Ferries. Other ferry ports are Poole (2.5-hour drive away) Portsmouth (3.5-hour) Dover/Folkstone (5-hour)
