A festive treat is coming back to one of Devon's enchanting tourist attractions. Santa in the Caves will be back at Kents Cavern from December 7 to Christmas Eve.
As part of the English Riviera's Bay of Lights celebrations, Santa in the Caves transforms the caverns into the ultimate Christmas grotto, complete with sparkling lights and a festive atmosphere.
This year, families will embark on an interactive pantomime-style adventure guided by a talented cast of festive-themed characters, including Ginger Bredd, Holly Willowberry, and the jolly Santa Claus himself. Together, they will lead visitors on a captivating quest to find their Christmas spirit, filled with surprises along the way.
Each child will receive a special light wand at the start of their journey. As they progress through the grotto, these magical wands will illuminate Christmas lights, creating a breathtaking and immersive atmosphere. The adventure culminates in a truly captivating meeting with Santa Claus, where each child can share their Christmas wishes and receive a beautifully wrapped gift.
Adults can indulge with a complimentary glass of mulled wine and delicious seasonal treats. Adding to the festivities, Carols in the Caves will return from November 26 and into December, featuring performances from Red Rock Acapella, Torbay Police and Community Choir, and Yours In Harmony choirs.
Both the ‘Santa in the Caves’ and ‘Carols in the Caves’ events showcase the unique charm and wonder of Kents Cavern during the holiday season. With their distinct offerings, these events provide families and visitors of all ages a chance to embrace the spirit of Christmas in an extraordinary setting.
Tickets for both events are limited, and early booking is highly recommended to secure your place.
